The staff was friendly
We had reserved 2 king rooms and they didn't have king rooms, I reserved both rooms far enough in advance I should have been notified there were no King rooms and they had 4 tv channels on the tv, the owner needs to get cable or direct tv and stop being so cheap
Staff is always accommodating, helpful, and very friendly. They've updated the interior since our last visit about six months prior. We commute often and this hotel is a great and comfortable stop for the night, especially for the price!
opulence in a western town.
breakfast ran out of food 1 hour before it's closing. No eggs, sausage, bread, bagels, and fruit. Thankfully I'm not in love with breakfast.
Breakfast was very good. Location was handy
Several things were not working. AC control, was tempermental keyed access from back door. Staff was often preoccupied and when finally available did not seem concerned. " Yes that is broken. I will tell somone"
Staff at front desk was friendly & helpful.
Located in a neighborhood that draws an "interesting" crowd. We were with our children sitting in the hot tub having to listen to car groups of drunk people pulling into the parking lot yelling & blasting their music. My husband had to check our car in the lot a few times before going to bed to make sure nothing was vandalized. Inside the hotel & down the hall from our room, teenagers kept their room door open while playing their music; one even rode their bicycle up & down the carpeted indoor hallway. Strange. Inside our room (#128), there were holes in the walls throughout the room & bathroom; room felt dirty because of it. Bed wasn't comfortable either; we both woke up with our necks out even though we brought our own TempurPedic pillows from home. At 10:00 am the next morning while trying to get ready in the bathroom, there was a knock on the door from one of the staff (not housekeeping) asking if we were still in the room or ready to checkout yet - even though checkout wasn't supposed to be until 12 noon. Overall dissatisfied with our experience at Red Lion Inn.
Very comfortable bed, heat and air worked well.
Carpet was soiled, ice machine broken, outside doors would not open with key card, had to enter through lobby, reserved two queen beds, got one king and fold out.
This Comfort Inn location was near the freeway exit but far enough away so that it was quiet. There is a Starbucks, Denny's & Taco Bell just across the street. Railey's & gas is just across the freeway. The staff was attentive & helpful. Clean comfortable, large room with fridge & microwave. Breakfast had eggs, potatoes & waffles as well as many other choices.
Office said they are getting all new carpets, beds, etc. by next year. I thought the hotel didn't need new stuff as it already was clean and didn't need an update.
towels looked fluffy enough, but when I used them, thought they needed to be bigger and feel smoother
The location was convenient. The hotel and room were clean. The staff were friendly.
The iron did not work. The bathroom was small and cramped. The shower head was too low for my height (6 foot 1inch)
quiet (there was one train, but it was no big deal), room was large, with table & 2 chairs, refrigerator and microwave, good pillows.
no elevators, long halls.... but I could have stayed on first floor and chose not to.
Staff was wonderful.
The bed and bedding
No table for 2 people to sit. Sink stopped up. Hard to turn bath/shower knobs, No ice container. Aasra Motel is now Red Lion Inn.
Checkout was nice. Booking process online a challenge, but it worked. Actually was quiet during the evening and night hours, when there were many children (loud) during the daytime.
Check in was a challenge because the name of the hotel had changed and I didn't know it. We had a hard time finding the hotel. The afternoon person at the desk was very nice, but grossly overworked-understaffed would be my guest. We waited until 3:30 to check in.
